FOCUS
The teaching - learning of Spanish and literature in Abriendo Caminos, is based on a Semantic - communicative approach, since it attends to the construction of meaning and the sense of taking the act of communication and interaction as a unit of work.
The transformations of civilization and the appearance of new realities make language become a fundamental tool for the acquisition of knowledge and the recognition of the realities that surround the context of our students.
ANALYZE
And relate new information with previous knowledge in all types of text (continuous and discontinuous). Students will be prepared to identify in literary and non-literary works; as well as interpreting signals, signs, symbols, codes and images, in order to value and respect one's own communication and that of others, cultural diversity and language through the various social, cultural and linguistic codes that circulate in the world.
PRODUCE
Texts duly applying the cohesion and coherence relations in their creations and in the communicative functions. Also, encode and decode various systems of meaning and communication, syntactic, morphological, phonological, pragmatic rules, context of use and various types of texts.
ASSESS
In different types of texts and mass media the symbolization of culture, the convergence of various human manifestations and the testimony of the history of humanity, from an aesthetic, historical and sociological perspective; taking a position in front of the presented realities, to assume a critical attitude in context.

A person who defends the language through their oral and written expressions, as well as the demand for respect for others.

Reader Plan Project
In the implementation of the project as a facilitating resource of the taste for reading and reading habits, we can observe that the teacher becomes a bearer of ideas, of wonderful worlds and a generator of opportunities to achieve the enjoyment of reading in students.
The Reading Plan is a transversal work that is developed from pre-school to fifth grade. It works from the micro and macrostructure, taking into account the age of the students. From childhood, students must apprehend reading skills, which will help you appreciate life and the world around you.
