What is child psychology?
Child psychology is the study of the behavior of the child from birth to adolescence. In this analysis, the specialist will treat the phenomena and irregularities of the child's psychic development. This branch of psychology focuses on the evolution of physical, motor, cognitive, perceptual, affective and social aspects.
Child psychology addresses two variables: environmental, for example the influence of parents or friends; and the biological, determined by genetics.

Child psychologists are experts who take care of understand and explain the development and behavior of the minor; For this they use therapies, both individual and collective, that help diagnose and treat social, emotional, affective and learning problems that may arise in the child.
Neuropsychology

The child neuropsychologist is a specialist in the evaluation and treatment of children or adolescents with cognitive, behavioral or academic disorders.
It deals mainly with learning problems and usually intervening on a population with developmental difficulties.
It deals with three types of problems:
Learning disabilities, developmental behavior disorders, and the like
Sequelae of early brain pathology
Specific medical conditions, mainly of a genetic and metabolic nature.
Occupational therapy

It is a discipline that studies human occupational performance. In the child population, it focuses on the areas of self-care, play and schooling as vital performance channels for the personal fulfillment of the child.
When there is a sample of dysfunctional actions in these areas, the occupational therapist performs a detailed assessment of the performance components (sensory-motor, cognitive-perceptual and personal-social), in order to determine the causes and provide the relevant and effective intervention, to enable the articulation of these components in functional performances at the age and level of schooling of the child.
